SEBASTIAN
ADOPTED!  Sebastian came from a country home where he was loved very much. He lived outside most of the time, but was allowed inside occasionally.  His owners both lost their jobs, times got tough, and his mom became ill.  It was almost impossible for her to care for him and his dad decided it was time for him to go.  He was too rough to stay there since no one ever really spent much time training him before.  He is a very sweet, loving, playful dog.  Sebastian has gained 6 lbs. since he got to rescue, and should weigh 150-170 lbs. when he finishes filling out. He is great with other dogs.  He absolutely LOVES cats.  His best friend in his first home was a black kitty. He also lived with two children.  Obedience classes are recommended after adoption.  When Sebastian came to CSCAGDR, he was clearly having issues with his rear paws.  The vet thinks he has SLO (Symmetrical Lupoid Onychodystrophy).   Sebastian will most likely have to be kept on Derm Caps and/or antibiotics.   His heartworm status is unknown because he was off of his heartworm preventative in his last home.  He will need to be retested in 6 months.
